1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using CopyClip (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
CopyClip is developed and operated by DevsLoop ("we," "our," or "us").
2. Description of Service
CopyClip is a clipboard manager application for iOS that allows you to:
- Save and organize text copied to your device clipboard
- Search, filter, and categorize clipboard history
- Sync clipboard data across devices via iCloud
- Secure clips with biometric authentication
- Export and import clipboard data
3. User Accounts
CopyClip does not require you to create an account. The App uses an anonymous identifier for subscription management through RevenueCat. Your data is associated with your Apple ID and device.
4. Subscriptions & Purchases
4.1 Free Plan
The free version of CopyClip allows you to save up to 5 clips per day. The daily counter resets at midnight local time. Existing saved clips remain accessible regardless of the daily limit.
4.2 Premium Plans
CopyClip offers the following paid plans:
- Weekly: Auto-renewing subscription billed every week
- Monthly: Auto-renewing subscription billed every month
- Yearly: Auto-renewing subscription billed every year
- Lifetime: One-time purchase granting permanent access to all premium features
4.3 Billing
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree that:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
4.4 Refunds
All purchases are made through the Apple App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
4.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Any price changes will take effect for the next billing cycle after the change is implemented. Existing subscribers will be notified by Apple before any price increase.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use CopyClip only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use the App to store or distribute illegal content
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Circumvent any security features or access restrictions
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the App
- Use the App to infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, graphics, interface, and content, is owned by DevsLoop and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Your clipboard data remains your property. We claim no ownership over any content you save using the App.
7. Data & Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Key points:
- Clipboard data is stored locally on your device
- iCloud Sync uses your personal Apple iCloud account
- We do not have access to your clipboard content
- You are responsible for backing up your own data
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy or reliability of any content
- Compatibility with all devices or OS versions
We do not guarantee that the App will always save every clipboard item, as clipboard access depends on iOS system behavior and user interaction.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DevsLoop shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or clipboard content
- Loss of profits or revenue
- Business interruption
- Damages arising from unauthorized access to your data
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DevsLoop, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of a third party
- Content you store or transmit through the App
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:
- Your license to use the App is immediately revoked
- We are not obligated to retain any of your data
- Active subscriptions may be cancelled
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device and cancelling any active subscriptions through Apple.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by updating this page. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the App or other means.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.
